So I was at work the other night doing nothing as usual and chatting with the girl I work with Sam, a couple of years younger than me and all of a sudden, she just smiles at me and says;

"I think you're really cool."

Obviously I burst out laughing at the statement as I can't recall ever being referred to as 'cool' irl. I then frowned and asked how and she continued to say that I was smart and had a great outlook to life and shit.

I'm not sure why I'm sharing this but it just kept a smile on my face for the rest of the evening. It's nice to know that you're not a total fuck up sometimes, or at least you can hide that fact well enough that people actually think you're awesome.

God lady, the way you've written about your life in prior posts makes my god awful existence seem like a paradise compared to yours...

Your constant depression has brought me happiness in the past, because much like the people on the show "intervention", I could say shit my life is pretty terrible right now, but at least it's not as bad as them.

I know I am just too depressing sometimes. My life hasn't been that bad, I was blessed with kind parents and a home where I generally got what I wanted. I just don't have many happy memories to go with that. While my childhood wasn't unhappy it wasn't that happy either. I just kind of existed, like now.

It's like when people ask me for my favourite childhood memory I simply have none and just focus on everything bad that I remember.

I need to stop being so depressing I think and remember the good more.
