She was such a lovely friend to you. I'm glad that you had someone who you could confide in and feel comfortable with.
I hope, in time when you have grieved, you can find someone in which you can feel comfortable confiding in and so you don't feel so alone. Not to replace Frankie, but so you can keep the good memories of her with you without the sadness that your friend has passed away.

My first dog, Bobby, died when I was 11 or so I think. We got a new dog quickly but I've never been as attached to a pet since and probably never will be. :C :C
Yeah its a sad fact isn't it. People tell me that I'll feel the same about another dog in the future but its like, I know I won't. I could love another dog and give it a good home but I doubt very very much that I'll ever feel that connection that I had with Frankie.
