Sorry for your loss, Gagsy. I know how you feel. My 2 Cats, Misty and Chelsea died about 3 years ago. They were both 18 years old. I was devastated, since I grew up with them. Chelsea died first, and then a few months later, Misty died.

I'm terribly sorry to hear that. I know what it's like to lose a dog that's that close of a friend. I know that there's nothing that can be said to help, I just hope that time is generous to you, and that one day you can look back on the wonderful memories you have without too much pain.

I had a pet hamster, who died on what could've been the happiest day of my life.
I have a dog now, and it's really hard thinking my dog will die in the future.

That really sucks. I know the pain of having to put down a beloved dog, and it is not something I would wish on anyone. I really hope you can get past this, and remember, you'll always have all those wonderful memories of him.
