I was in a similar situation recently. I was at the grocery store, and the bag boy had his hand in his pants. Being at a place of work it was totally disgusting. I told him that was nasty and he gave me a smirk.The young men I have seen do that have no tact whatsoever. When I was younger It did not phase me. Now that I'm adult, it repulses me. I guess they have their hands down there for a reason. A reason that I dont want to find out.

Wow, some of these comments really surprise me. You people seriously see this sort of stuff? I mean, I know young children have a no-holds bar fascination with their nether regions, but I've never seen inappropriate behavior beyond anyone over the age of five or so. Thank goodness, because it's super awkward and makes you feel bad for the person in question since it really does draw negative attention from those around them.
I don't care how cold your hands are, putting your hands literally on your crotch to keep them warm is just... uncalled for. Unless you are alone. Not making anyone feel uncomfortable...

For some unknown reason there seems to be a lot of folk doing that these days. I don't get it. It generally seems to be the chavvy type as well, or neds as we call them.

Some men put their hands on their crotch because their hands are cold.
It's not all that uncommon, especially if it's dark near winter.
Most people won't do it in public but it is the UK so the standard is probably much lower.
