Who cares if you're forgotten
At least the people you care most about will never forget, and if they do, then they didn't care enough in the first place.
I want people to remember me from what they knew of me personally. I don't care if my name is in some history book.
It's not the being forgotten that scares me, it's the idea of nothing and our whole earth, our whole world not existing anymore. Just becoming nothing. That scares me.

Well, even as a Catholic I fear nothingness as well. In fact, I fear any kind of eternity in general, I almost feel at peace knowing that one day this life will end, possibly even motivated by it.
But the idea of existing or not existing forever terrifies me because I can't even begin to grasp it.
